Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of BikeDist websites and software. By using our services, you agree to these terms. Last updated: July 8, 2026.
1. The service
BikeDist provides tools to manage bicycle product catalog data and export to connected channels (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce). The web application is available at https://app.bikedist.com. Features and limits depend on your plan and account status.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose security risk.
3. Trials, subscriptions, and fees
- Trials. We may offer a free trial. When the trial ends, access to paid features may require a subscription.
- Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle. Fees, renewal dates, and applicable VAT or sales tax are shown at checkout and in your billing settings. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Refunds. Paid fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer-protection law (including any statutory right of withdrawal). If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] within 30 days and we will review the charge in good faith.
- Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from inside the product or through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. You can export your catalog data at any time before cancellation.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including: violating laws, probing or attacking our systems, scraping beyond permitted API use, or using the service to distribute malware or infringing content. We may investigate and remove content or access where necessary.
5. Your data & catalog content
You retain rights to your business data. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display it as needed to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.
6. Third-party platforms
Integrations (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) are subject to those platforms' terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes made by third parties.
7. Intellectual property
BikeDist, its branding, and the software are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the service.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, even if advised of the possibility.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify BikeDistand its affiliates against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of a third party's rights, provided we promptly notify you of the claim and cooperate in the defence.
11. Changes
We may modify these terms. We will post updates on this page and, for material changes, provide notice as appropriate (e.g. email or in-product notice). Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts of Amsterdam have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to the service, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
